THE UNITED RECOVERY FUND STORY
LAUNCHING SOON
United Recovery Fund (formerly Maine Recovery Fund)
is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2017to provide support, dignity, and purpose through sustainable employment
to people affected by substance use disorder and incarceration,
resulting in financial independence and economic viability.
We partner with MaineWorks, a B-Corp social staffing company to support our clients in their re-entry into the workforce following treatment for substance use disorder and/or incarceration.
But without a driver's license, transportation, groceries, clothing, stable housing, and other essentials, individuals struggle to show up confidently and comfortably each day.
Not having a ride to work, groceries, stable and sober living, and other essentials prevents individuals from showing up to work confidently and comfortably each day.
United Recovery Fund was founded to provide comprehensive and holistic services that are essential for the success of individuals recovering from substance use disorder or reentering the work force after jail or prison.
United Recovery Fund bridges the gap
other recovery & reentry programs fail to address.
United Recovery Fund was founded with the mission of providing wraparound support to individuals in recovery from substance use disorder and incarceration. We are steadfast in our commitment to our clients, providing personalized support and resources to help them achieve their goals and create a bright future for themselves. We are here to ensure that each client gets the support they need, whether it’s transportation, securing housing, or reconnecting with family and loved ones. Our approach is client-centered, and we work to empower each individual to take charge of their own life, one step at a time.
